Do You Know A Charity We Should Support? Tell Us Who and Why!

This year our choice of charities will be guided through the principle of ‘K’vod Ha-B’riyot’ - Dignity for All Beings!  

K’vod Ha-B’riyot is so central to our religion that our tradition suggests it overrides the Torah itself! At its core K’vod Ha-B’riyot instructs us to infuse our lives with kavod (respect for others), rachamim (compassion) and g’milut chasadim (acts of loving-kindness). To live a Jewish life is to live in accordance with these principles. 

Each year we receive many nominations each of which is carefully considered by the Tikkun Olam Team. We have divided our giving into three categories: Local Community, Jewish Community & Global Community.

If you have a worthy charity email tikkun@radlettreform.org.uk with their name, charity number, proposed category and 2-3 sentences on why you think they would be the perfect fit for this year’s High Holyday Appeal.  

The submission deadline is Friday, 20th June.
