These beautiful photos have been taken by Richard Burn, scroll down the page to read about him and his photography.

Richard is a retired Solicitor and a warden (formerly head warden) of the Synagogue who has been passionate about photography since his teenage years; he still has and occasionally uses the camera his parents bought him for his 21st birthday, an Olympus 35 ECR.

Richard lives near Ampthill in Bedfordshire.  He was awarded a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society in 2013 and is currently working towards his Associateship as well as an award from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.  He belongs to the Documentary, Landscape and Travel Groups of the Royal Photographic Society and is a member of Ampthill & District Camera Club.  In October 2017 he was appointed a Judge within the East Anglian Federation of Camera Clubs, of which there are about 130.

For the next stage of his photographic journey, Richard has within the last 6-9 months submitted a number of images for inclusion in national and international exhibitions and salons affiliated to FIAP – The International Federation of Photographic Art – with a view to obtain accreditation with it – i.e. more letters after his name!  It’s a lengthy, involved process but each of the images on display here has already been accepted for an exhibition or salon, with several either receiving an award or a commendation.
