This list is not intended to be exhaustive but will provide an idea of what help is available across Hertfordshire.

If you need help in a Mental Health Crisis in Hertfordshire: 

Jami (Jewish mental health charity): www.jamiuk.org  - Provides mental health support for adults, children and young adults (11-18 years old), families and carers.

For referral to Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), discuss referral with your GP.

Online listening services for mental health and wellbeing:

  • Jewish Listening Line: 0800 652 9249
  • Nightlight (run by Herts Mind Network): 01923 256391. Open 7pm to 1am daily for drop-ins or phone calls.
  • Samaritans: 116 123
  • Shout: text support for those with a mental health crisis. Text 85258
