Are you interested in music, concerts, supper quizzes, films, sport, walking, going to the theatre and meeting new people? The social committee put on a range of social and cultural events throughout the year to appeal to all members of the community, young and old.
Our role is primarily to organise inspiring social events which bring members and their friends together to relax and enjoy themselves with other like-minded people. Occasionally, we wear a ‘fund-raising’ hat and aim to raise money for a specific, charitable purpose although our main purpose is always to make the function enjoyable for everyone. In many cases, our events are over-subscribed so it’s important to book early!
